Shakey Hoover, 38, was convicted on one count in federal court on Wednesday.

Hoover was arrested following an argument at his Newark home April 23, 2017. During the argument, which involved the daughter of Hoover's longtime girlfriend as well as others, Hoover pulled a revolver from his waistband and pointed it at the group.

The people fled to a nearby police station and reported the incident. Hoover was quickly arrested and a gun loaded with a single bullet was recovered. Hoover's fingerprint was found on the weapon.

Hoover faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine when he's sentenced in July.
